Baeckerei Steinleitner in Straubing

The quality of the espresso would actually be really good. But if you come here 20-30 minutes before the shop closes (Corona opening times until 5pm), i.e. at 4.30pm, you have to be really lucky to find employees here who want to take the trouble to turn on the machine. Apparently, special emphasis is placed on having the shop cleaned before the shop closes. Unfortunately not convincing.

If the goods were as good as the ambience, everything would be great. The staff is elegantly dressed, the furnishings are upscale, only the rolls do not stand out from the average.

Enjoyed a very good french breakfast for two, with latte, scrumptious cheese, ham and salami, big bread basket, always something to take away. Service staff nice and competent. The pastry is also very good!

Top quality, not only baked goods, service ... Sometimes I go there to have a nice talk and start the day positively. And bagels, and baguettes ... There are no better 😍

not for nothing the "best baker" of Germany. Top sourdough breads and much more. Since at the end of the business the shelves are not full anymore as elsewhere I assume that food will not be produced here to destroy them after closing time. As a customer I prefer that as a cheap mass-produced goods from the baking factory

I was in SR, in Frauenhoferstr. Sales assistants were great; good and helpful 👍🙂🔝. It was very clean and nice. And tasted

Best bread far and wide. Thank you for maintaining the tradition of good bread baking at Steinleitner. The seasoned 1812 bread with butter and chives is simply unsurpassed.

As a child, I always went two streets further to the Steinleitner for probably the world's best rum cake. Too bad that it no longer exists ... - even if the ambience is more beautiful today than ever ...

Delicious. When I am in SR I go breakfast there. Then there's always delicious cake in the winter and delicious gingerbread.

The bread is the absolute dream. That's what I call real art of baking. Finally only with what belongs in a piece of bread! The gingerbread is an absolute treat! A taste of first quality !!! Please keep it up
